DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: GUWAHATI- KAZIRANGA

• Touchdown at Guwahati Airport, meet your fellow Meghalayan Backpackers and get set for a scenic ride through rugged mountains.
• We then drive to Kaziranga for our night stay and get ready for the overlying adventures ahead. O/N Kaziranga

DAY 2: JEEP SAFARI AND DRIVE TO SHILLONG

• An early morning today! We set out for the Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park- famous for the habitation of One- Horned Rhinoceros, to spot some of our wild friends.
• Before rolling into Shillong, we'll take a pit stop at Umiam Lake for you to have a peaceful view and pictures ;)
• Go shopping in the police bazar of Shillong. Gel up with the tribe over dinner, exchange stories, play game.

DAY 3: WATERFALLS AND DAWKI CAMPING

• Rise and Shine! After a delicious breakfast in Shillong, we leave for Dawki while we visit two of the most mesmerizing waterfalls.
• First- Phe Phe Falls. After crossing river in a kayak and a short 30 minutes hike that introduces us to vast array of exquisite ladscapes, lakes and flora.
• Krang Suri- A sight to behold! It takes about a 20 minute walk to this falls.
• We leave for Dawki right after. Check in your tents and settle for some stories, music, and a sky full of stars as we camp by the Umngot River.

DAY 4: ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES- MAWLYNNONG

• Waking up to the most beautiful view of this river, surely a treat to your eyes! After breakfast, it's time for some fun adventure activities- Kayaking, Cliff Jumping, in Asia's Cleanest River (Umngot River)
• After having a good adrenaline rush, we leave for Cherrapunjee, but first, we'll have a quick stop at Asia's Cleanest Village - Mawlynnong. Walk around this truly clean and green village & interact with the humble local people!
• Reach Cherrapunjee, freshen up, have dinner & spend quality time with the gang.

DAY5: DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE & BLUE POOL

• You can't do Meghalaya without the living root bridges and today we are heading for the same! No lies, it's a tiresome 2 hours trek each way.
• But trust us, a dip in the fresh water blue pool along with the view of mighty Double Decker Living Root Bridge will make it all worthwhile.
• If time permits, we'll be hiking ahead to the beautiful Rainbow Falls. Also get to watch a rainbow if you're lucky enough.
• Hiking back before the sun-sets in, we'll end the day with much deserved delicious dinner.

DAY 6: WEI SAWDONG, MAWSMAI CAVES, NOHAKALIKAI FALLS

• Rise and Shine! It's time for a morning hike to Wei Sawdong Waterfalls- a two tier beautiful fall. A short 20 minute hike one way, we'll be venturing through some dense forest and passing through some small bamboo bridges. Dip your legs into the crystal clear pool or simply laze around the boulders!
• Next, we head towards the Mawsmai Caves, try to turn yourself into jelly as we enter the caves and move through narrow twists and turns. Exiting from another end of the cave with a sense of accomplishment.
• Later, we'll go for the most surreal, India's tallest plunge waterfall- Nohakalikai Falls!

DAY 7: LAITLUM CANYON, MAWPHLANG SACRED FOREST- GUWAHATI

• After breakfast, today we leave Cherrapunjee after our 3 nights stay.
• We visit Laitlum Canyon on our way. Have a look at the vast landscapes, eat momos, corn etc from the sweetest local people!
• Later it's time for a further drive to the Mawphlang Sacred Forest- a untouched sacred forest that is the soul of Khasi culture. Take a walk in the forest, surrounded by lush green trees and birds chirping. It's going to be peaceful!
• Then, we make our way towards Guwahati, freshen up, have dinner and get set for the last night of our trip with the then FAMILY and not just fellow backpackers.

DAY 8: BID FAREWELL- TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

• Today, there's no early wake up call! We wake up a little late than usual days, have breakfast in the hotel, freshen up and then it's time for goodbye hugs!
• We check-out from our hotels and leave for Guwahati Airport, with your bagpacks full of memories, souvenirs and pictures of a lifetime!

• PURE VEG MEALS - Starting from Dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 8 i.e. 7 Breakfasts and 7 Dinners.

• ACTIVITIES - Kayaking and Cliff Jumping in Dawki River.
• JEEP SAFARI in Kaziranga National Park.

EXCLUSIONS

• FLIGHT TCIKETS - Flights to Guwahati and back. We can assist you eith flight ticket bookings!
• PERSONAL EXPENSES - Lunch and anything not mentioned in the INCLUSIONS is considered as a personal expense.
• CAMERA AND VEHICLE - Camera and Vehicle charges where company's vehicle is not available are not included in the tour cost.
• EXTRAS - Extra food and drinks ordered, tips, laundry, shopping, etc.

FLIGHT BOOKING DETAILS

• ON DAY 1, PARTICIPANTS ARE SUPPOSED TO MEET US AT GUWAHATI AIRPORT BY 12 PM.
• ON DAY 8, YOU CAN BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS ANYTIME YOU WISH TO. (HOTEL'S STANDARD CHECK OUT TIME- 11 AM)

NOTES

• Maintaining social distance throughout the trip is mandatory. 
• Participants must carry their own masks and Sanitizers compulsorily.
• Standard check-in for hotels: 12 noon and check out by 10:00 AM.
• Early check- in subject to availability.
• At some sight seeing destinations buses are allowed only till parking area and participants have to walk till the monument or can hire local transport on their own.
• DJ Parties are not allowed in any of the hotels in Guwahati, you can go out in any cafe/ clubs in the city for 31st Night if you want. 
• The schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager according to the circumstances and convenience.
• Cost arising out of any event beyond our control like strikes, bandh, riots, train cancellation, flight cancellation, mechanical breakdown, natural calamities like heavy rainfall, snowfall, landslides, earthquake will be directly bourne by the participants.
• Trekkers Tribe won't be responsible in case any sightseeing/ activity gets cancelled due to natural calamities or man-made incidents.
• Guest would be responsible for their luggage/ baggage throughout the trip.
• If at all the trip gets cancelled due to any event or lockdown, nominal cancellation fees of 10% will be charged and participants will get the credit note of remaining amount paid which can be used by them anytime in near future.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• The Initial Registration amount is 50% refundable only if cancelled 30 days before the trip.
• Out of the second and final installment paid, cancellation fees will be:
• 25% if cancelled before 20 days of the trip. 
• 50% if cancelled before 15 days of the trip. 
• 70% if cancelled before 05 days of the trip.
•  90% if cancelled before 02 days of the trip. 
• 100% if cancelled before 01 days of the trip.
