Kashmir Great Lakes (Ex - Srinagar )

~DETAILED ITINERARY~

DAY 1: SRINAGAR- SONMARG

• Meet and greet at Srinagar airport around 12:00 PM, get to know your fellow trekkers and trek buddy and drive towards Sonmarg.
• Reach Sonmarg and have a goodnight's sleep as you get ready for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2: SONMARG TO NICHNAI VIA SHEKDUR (9-10KMS)

• Today marks our first day of this enthralling KGL trek.
• After breakfast and a brief introduction about the trek, we will begin with our trek.
• A gradual trek alongside Sindh river will take you through maple and pine forests.
• A descend trek from here will take you to the snow covered Shekdur range, relax around the vicinity before you start your trek towards Nichnai.
• Upon arrival in Nichnai, check-in, dinner and overnight stay at the
  campsite.

DAY 3: NICHNAI TO VISHANSAR LAKE (13 KMS)

• After breakfast, we start our trek towards the Nichnai pass while we enjoy the stunning views of lush valleys.
• Hereafter, crossing a river we arrive at the Nichnai Pass or the Vishansar Berry. Witness and enjoy the snow covered peaks all around it.
• Continuing with the hike, we arrive at our beautiful campsite with view of Vishansar Lake and the Himalayan Ranges. O/N at the campsite.

DAY 4: VISHANSAR TO GADSAR (VIA KISHASAR & GADSAR PASS, 11 KMS)

• This Chilly morning, witness the Kishansar peak casting its reflection on the azure lake waters. Start the trek towards Kishansar Peak.
• Later part of the day, we trek towards the Kishansar lake & finally make it to the Gadsar Pass.
• After crossing Iris, reach the picturesque Gadsar Lake.
• Arriving at the lakeside, report to the nearest Army camp and complete the formalities of getting permission to pass Gadsar. ID proofs are a must for this.

DAY 5: GADSAR TO SATSAR (12 KMS)

• Your day will begin with a walk from army camp towards the stream.
• Take a break at Maengandob that is fringed by mountains.
• Reach the first of Satsar Lakes, which is a group of seven different lakes and folllow the same procedure of yesterday with the army officials and set camps near the surreal first lake of Satsar.

DAY 6: SATSAR TO GANGABAL TWIN LAKES (9 KMS)

• Today we trek through rocks and boulders ridden terrain, pass the last of Satsar lake.
• Here onwards we start ascending and reach an altitude of 13,400 ft which is finally our summit point! 
• From the summit you can also behold the the fascinating views of the twin lakes: Gangabal and Nundkol.
• Trekking for around 20 minutes from Nundkol Lake you will arrive at the Gangabal Lake and by crossing the bridge across lake, you will arrive at the campsite. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

DAY 7: TREK FROM GANGABAL TO NARANAG (12 KMS, 7 HRS) TO SRINAGAR

• On your final day of the Kashmir Great Lakes trek, start from Gangabal camp, ramble on grassy land dotted with yellow flowers and pine forest.
• Descend and reach Naranag, the last leg of your trek.
• Reach Naranag village in Ganderbal district.
• Be driven back to Srinagar and unwind in the hotel for the night.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE- SRINAGAR

• No wake up call today.
• You can explore Dal Lake and go for a Shikara Ride.
• Later, it's time for goodbye hugs!
• Transfer to airport with a bag full of memories, pictures and promising of more treks/ trips in future with Trekkers Tribe ;p

• Extra food & drinks ordered, Tips, Laundry, Shopping, etc.
• Anything not mentioned above in the Inclusions.

Flight tickets booking can be done by us on prior notice!

ADVANCE PAYMENT: ₹8,000/- LAST DAY OF REGISTRATION- 20 DAYS BEFORE THE DEPARTURE FINAL INSTALLMENT TO BE PAID 10 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP.

~CANCELLATION POLICY~

Non-Refundable Amount:
The initial booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellation Policy:
Before 7 days of the trip:
If canceled before making the full payment, only the non-refundable amount will
be retained.
Between 7 to 5 days before the trip:
If canceled after paying the full amount, 50% of the balance amount (excluding the non-refundable
deposit) will be refunded.
Within 5 days of the trip:
No refund will be provided if canceled within 5 days of the trip start date.
No Show / Last-Minute Cancellations:
If the participant fails to show up or cancels within 48 hours of departure, no refund will be possible.
Transfer of Booking:
The participant may transfer their booking to another person at no extra cost, provided this is done at least
5 days before the trip.
Trip Cancellation by Us:
If the trip is canceled by our team due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or operational
reasons, the participant will be offered:
A full refund (except for any non-refundable costs already incurred) OR credit for a future trip, which can be
used within a specific period.
