Detailed Itinerary - Trip Duration: 8N/9D 

  • Day 1 Delhi to Manali

Meet and greet at Delhi around 04:00 PM, get to know your fellow trekkers and board the volvo for Manali Overnight journey in the Volvo

 

  • Day 2 Acclimatization in Manali

Wake up to the mesmerizing morning views of Manali! We check into our basecamp in Manali and rest for the day and mainly for acclimatization. Acclimatization is the process of adapting to new climatic conditions & is important in high altitude treks Chill around and spend time exchanging stories with your newly made friends. O/N Campsite

 

  • Day 3 Manali Campsite to Chikka

After healthy breakfast, brief orientation with the trek leader, we begin with our journey from Manali to Chikka. It kicks off from the calm and mesmerizing jeep drive from base camp to Jobri village. Now, we trek from Jobri Village to Chikka. As they say, Safar khubsurat hai manzil se bhi! A peaceful trek of around 3 hours. 

 

  • Day 4 Trek from Chikka to Bhalu ka Ghera

Another day and another crisp morning as we wake up to beautiful Chikka campsite. The plan is to trek from Chikka to Bhalu ka Ghera, as the trek duration is 4-5 hours, but worry not, the rocky river banks, the dream snow valley is going to make up for the struggle And, camping at Bhalu ka ghera needs no introduction as it is an epitome of sheer beauty.

 

  • Day 5 Bhalu ka Ghera- Hampta Pass- Shea Goru

Day 5 comes with a bit of hardcore trekking, as we go from Bhalu ka ghera to Hampta pass and further to Shea Goru (8-9 hours) But hey, we reach the summit today as we scream with joy, "WE FINALLY DID IT!" and click some instagram worthy pictures ;) From Hampta pass top, we stride towards Shea goru which is a bit steeper descend but we relax and have a goodnight's sleep after reaching Shea Goru to charge up for the next day.

 

  • Day 6 Shea Goru- Chatru- Chandratal

The day starts by leaving the Shea Goru campsite and heading towards Chatru. Chatru offers astounding and jaw- dropping views which will set your day's mood. Chatru is the epicentre of the three suer magnificient placesHampta pass, Rohtang pass and Spiti Valley. In later part, we'll be having a feel good jeep ride to the MOST beautiful Chandrataal Lake.

 

  • Day 7 Jeep ride from Chatru to Manali

Journey back towards Manali. After breakfast, we leave for Manali, with a thrilling roller coaster ride through beautiful, panoramic visuals to look for. We reach Manali and after staying in tents for quite a few days, we finally have proper rest at a hotel stay for our last night in Manali!

 

  • Day 8 Manali (Leave for Delhi)

It's a chill day for us today! Freshen up and explore the local Manali and places nearby like a hippie :p After spending a considerable time wandering on the streets of Manali, it's time for a goodbye to the mountains! We leave for Delhi in the evening. Overnight journey in the Volvo.

 

  • Day 9 Reach Delhi

Next, we wake up to a morning in Delhi. Last but not the least, it's time for the goodbye hugs :( but we bet you are going back home with a bag full of memories and pictures to be cherished for a lifetime! After around 10-11 AM, we leave for our respective cities via train/flight.

Inclusions

  • Delhi to Manali and back in AC Volvo bus Local transfers for the places mentioned in the itinerary.
  • 4 Nights' accommodation in tents on sharing basis during trek. 1 Night stay at campsite in Manali.
  • 1 Night stay in our Manali's hotel.
  • Pure Veg and Jain Meals – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner as per mentioned in the itinerary (7 Breakfast, 6 Lunch, 5 Dinner, packed lunch during the trek) Trek equipment (Sleeping bags, Kitchen & Dining tents, etc)
  • Mountaineering Certified and professional trek leader, guide and support staff to assist you with the best service throughout the trek.
  • All Necessary Permits & Entry Fees.
  • First Aid kit and medical assistance.
  • Trekkers Tribe Expertise

 

Exclusions

  • Train fares for Mumbai to Delhi and back.
  • Meals which are not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Mule/ Porter Charges Safari, Camera, Movie camera and Vehicle Charges where company’s vehicle not available are not included in the tour cost.
  • Any adventure activities.
  • Any Personal expenses.
  • Extra food & drinks ordered, Tips, Laundry, Shopping, etc.
  • Anything not mentioned above in the Inclusions.

 

Cancellation Policy

The initial registration amount is 50% refundable only if cancelled 45 days before the trip. 

Out of the second and final installment paid, cancellation fees will be: 

  • 25% if cancelled before 10 days of the trip.
  • 50% if cancelled before 08 days of the trip.
  • 70% if cancelled before 06 days of the trip.
  • 90% if cancelled before 03 days of the trip.
  • 100% if cancelled before 02 days of the trip.

 

Important Note

 

  • Trek Grade: Moderate
  • Highest Altitude: 14065 ft.
  • Age group- 16
  • Mumbai to Delhi and back train tickets: ₹3000-3500/-
  • We expect you to carry personal luggage on your own, if you wish to offload your bagpack, you can give it to a mule. Around 1500/- pp. Bagpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs, should have waterproof cover.
  • Suitcase/ Trolley bags strictly not allowed.
  • The schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager/ trek leader according to the circumstances and convenience
  • Any cost arising out of any event beyond our control like strike, bandh, riots, train cancellation, flight cancellation, mechanical breakdown, natural calamity, will directly borne by the guests.
  • Trekkers Tribe won't be responsible in case any sightseeing/ activity gets cancelled due to any natural calamities or man made incidents.
  • Guests would be responsible for their luggae/ baggage throughout the trek.
  • DO NOT CARRY suitcase, trolley bags, a bagpack is comfortable and recommended.
  • Train ticket bookings usually start 4 months before the departure dates, so there are chances the tickets will be RAC/ Waiting.
  • If you book the tour late, please check the ticket status with us at the time of booking, you might have to pay a bit extra to get a confirm seat (Tatkal)
  • If at all the trek gets cancelled due to any event beyond our control or Lockdown, a nominal cancellation fee of 10% will be charged and guests will get the credit note of remaining amount paid which can be used by them anytime in the near future.
  • The climber must be fit and have sufficient stamina. (Start working out right away if you are thinking to go for this one!) Heart problem, high blood pressure, asthama and epilepsy patients cannot be reconciled on this one.
